Sustainability
We are committed to ensuring that SARMAC 2025 is a sustainable meeting. With that in mind, we have taken the following actions:

-
Conference programme: The conference programme is available in electronic format. Printed programmes will not be offered as standard, however if you require a printed programme for accessibility reasons, please let us know.

-
Swag policy: In order to reduce waste, we will not be providing 'swag' such as tote bags, water bottles and other branded items at SARMAC 2025. Reusable tote bags may seem like an eco-friendly option, but in fact a cotton tote bag must be used 20,000 times in order to offset the environmental impact of its production! We encourage all delegates to bring their own reusable bag and water bottle with them. Water stations will be available throughout the conference venue.

-
Conference badges and lanyards: We request that delegates return their lanyards at the end of the conference so they can be reused for future SARMAC meetings. The badges themselves may be recycled.

-
Conference venue: Killashee hotel has been awarded a Gold Green Tourism award for its sustainability efforts. Wherever possible, the food you will eat at SARMAC 20025 has been sourced locally. Learn more about the venue's environmental policies here.
